After looking through the results of this year’s Korea Festival 2012 as
well as previous years, I feel that it is one of those good events that can be
held at MBS.
Previously mentioned, MBS is targeting the Southeast Asia Market and by
organizing the Korea Festival there, it will create good bonds and ties with
the Koreans.
Events that have been held at MBS had also become rather large-scale due
to the popularity of our hotel itself and by having the Festival there; it will
bring about higher uproars and attract in a larger crowd not only from
Singaporeans, but possibly also the foreigners who will be in Singapore during
that period of time.
MBS has many facilities to offer that will definitely appeal to the
organizers. The Sands Expo and Convention Centre is a good place to hold the
Korean Street Fair due to its enormity where there will be more than enough
space to set up booths and also a stage for the contests and miniscule performances
etc.
For large scale performances, MBS can also cater to them as we have
theatres that have hosted many other famous productions, such as Lion King,
since its opening.
Voted the best MICE hotel in Asia, Dinners and Galas can also be held in
our hotel and we will offer special prices with the most excellent service on
board. Members of the business and diplomatic community will be able to
socialize and create relationships with one another through this platform.
Though not under MBS, the Art Science Museum is a wonderful attraction in
Singapore which I will highly recommend to the organizers of the Korea Festival
to put up their exhibits for contemporary art. Not only is it situated close to
MBS which amounts in for its convenience, the Art Science Museum is also famous
for holding some of the most wonderful exhibitions like Harry Potter and The
Titanic. Bringing in the Korean arts and cultural exhibition there will give it
a sense of supremacy.
MBS, being a hotel, can also offer special rates for the organizers to
stay at our hotel during this two month long festival.
